Smarter Band Progression

The app used to bump you to heavier bands after a single great session. We've all been there: you have one amazing workout, the app hands you a harder band, and you immediately get crushed. Not anymore.

Now, Rubber Bands watches your performance across multiple sessions before recommending heavier resistance. You need to consistently hit the top of your rep range before the app decides you're ready to move up. No more getting punished for having one good day.

Scheduling Workouts is Way Less Confusing

Setting up your weekly schedule used to get weird when multiple workouts landed on the same day. You couldn't easily tell which workout you were editing versus which one already claimed that slot. The day picker now highlights your current workout by name and clearly shows any conflicts with other workouts. If two workouts want the same day, you'll see both names and can choose to replace with one tap.

Android Workout Widget

Android users, you finally have a persistent workout notification. When you start a session, a live widget appears showing your elapsed time and rest timer countdown. Start, pause, and stop your workout right from the notification shade without switching back to the app. This brings the Android experience much closer to what iOS users have had with the Dynamic Island.

In-App Rep Scheme Guide

New to resistance band training? Not sure what "3 sets of 12 with AMRAP" actually looks like? There's a new visual guide in the app that walks you through rep schemes with realistic examples. It shows exactly what your workout screen will look like so there are no surprises when you start your first session.

Better Warmup Detection

The app is now smarter about telling the difference between your warmup sets and your real working sets. If you do a light warmup with a thinner band, the app won't mistakenly count that as a working set when planning your next session. Your recommendations stay based on the work that actually matters.
